I Lost My Dream

When I found that there is no hope word in my dictionary

From our childhood
Elders tell us to dream big
but what can you do
if someone cuts your wings?

How things change from top to bottom
and collapse like a house of cards
and you have no choice
other than to move on.

Though ‘move on’ is simple to say
what to do if your life is meaningless
without your success?
you become a soul without direction
and hope remains just word
without meaning.
